Today, I want to talk to you about apples! 🍏
We’ve all heard the saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Apples are extremely nutritious and are low on the glycemic index, meaning that they won’t shoot your blood sugar levels up and they are a wonderful alternative for when you are craving something sweet. Having an apple is like having a multi-vitamin! Apples contain vitamin C, vitamin A, some of the B vitamins, magnesium, potassium, calcium, trace minerals, copper, manganese and zinc. All in a tasty and handy package!
Take an apple to work with you! They have been used for hundreds of years to treat a number of conditions, including gastro-enteritis.
