Let’s Get Healthy in 2025!

Don’t you just hate those New Year Resolutions? I do because I usually fail after the first few weeks so I thought instead of dictating what you should be doing I would just like you to think about following new good habits.  If you only embrace one or two of these, they should help improve your health in 2025.

We have probably all overindulged, feel sluggish and a little larger around the middle but I will not mention the fat word!  Do not panic, health and happiness are inextricably connected, and I believe that it is more important to enjoy life and feel happy than worrying about everything we eat.  Being a bit naughty sometimes is good for the soul!

  1. Decide to change your life and improve your health. Make up your mind and set yourself achievable goals. If you are not within the normal range for your body size and height, make this the year you achieve it.  Good health is the most precious gift; start loving your body and make the habit of looking after your health in 2025.
  2. Try ditching all junk and processed food.  I challenge you to eliminate all processed foods for just one month and see and feel the difference.  Eat fresh food; lots of fruit and vegetables; reduce caffeine and alcohol and drink plenty of good quality water.
  3. Have a strategy for shopping and cooking.  Plan your meals for the whole week so that you are not tempted to backslide into bad habits.  Take pleasure in preparing food – cooking should not be a chore, think of it as a way of expressing love for your family.
  4. Exercise regularly, it helps lower blood sugar levels, keeps bowels working efficiently, boosts immunity, burns calories, encourages a good night’s sleep and protects us from disease.

Live with joy and health 💚
